The Page About...
What the heck?
I originally began this blog as part of my Writing and Digital Media class. My colleagues and I were given this task: "For this project you will set your own goals to participate in a specific media across this semester" (Digital Media Participation assignment, Dr. Imafuji). The specific media I chose was weblogging, and my goals are as follows:
- Posting at least once a week, every Thursday
- Gaining at least 20 followers* by the end of the semester
- Sharing a link to every new post on my Twitter and Facebook pages and encouraging my readers to do the same
- Encouraging my readers to rate and comment on my posts to identify more popular or "better" content
- Concentrating on writing installments to an analogous, fictional fantasy
- Writing according to more of a "stream-of-consciousness" format than a traditional novel/short story outline
Please pay attention to the second, third and fourth goals.
Please share my things. Please comment on my stuff.** Please rate my posts. Please.
Readership feedback is a powerful fuel for the motivation to make more posts.
Anyway, that's the point of this blog and now you know.
Who is this guy?
I am Aaron. I am a student at Anderson University, majoring in Christian Ministries and Writing with an Art minor. I'm an artist, a poet, a writer, a thinker. I'm depressive and distractible, and I take mild medication for both. I love Jesus. I love cats. I love spreading happiness and good music. Sometimes I make YouTube videos. I tweet probably more than I should (@threespeedninja), but not as much as some people. I like to write, I hope you like it when I write, but in the end if you don't, there isn't much I can do about that. But tell me anyway. Feedback is a good thing. Be anonymous if you must, but let me know.
If you're reading this, you're special and God loves you and I'm glad you came to my blog.
That's all.
*That means you click on the "Follow" button. :D
**"Please comment on my stuff" means please comment on the post in the blog itself, not on the post on Facebook or Twitter or wherever. Just so we're clear.
I really enjoyed learning more about you in the "Who is this guy?" section ;)
